DMCT1700 Conspicuity Marking Tape Series is a non-metalized micro prismatic reflective sheeting meets and exceeds thee requirements of FMVSS108, delivering high reflectivity both day and night.

Long-Term Durability

Equipped with PMMA front film, ensuring a service life of more than 7 years. Boasts excellent weather resistance to withstand harsh outdoor environmental conditions.

Strong Adhesion

Features a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer protected by a release liner, which can be peeled off without soaking in water or other solvents. A 25mm wide strip applied to a smooth aluminum surface can support an 800g weight for 5 minutes with peeling distance not exceeding 50mm, ensuring firm and long-lasting bonding.

Easy Maintenance & Cleaning

Can be hand-washed with sponge, cloth, or soft brush using warm water and detergent (pH value 3-11, non-abrasive, no strong solvents). Resistant to high-pressure cleaning (max 80 bar, max 60°C) with specific operation requirements. Grease, oil, or tar can be removed with heptane, VM&P naphtha, or mineral spirits, followed by detergent and water rinsing

Application Tips

1. Apply the material only when air and surface temperatures range from 15°C to 38°C for strong adhesive bonding.
2. Ensure surfaces are fully free of grease, oil and dirt before application—wipe clean with a dry towel and isopropyl alcohol (or similar cleaner).
3. If air bubbles form after application, puncture the bubble with a pin and use a squeegee to push air out through the pinhole.

Maintenance & Cleaning Tips

Routine cleaning: Hand wash with a sponge, soft cloth or brush, warm water and neutral detergent; ensure the cleaner is wet, non-abrasive and solvent-free (pH 3-11, no strong acid/alkali), then rinse thoroughly.
Stain removal (grease/oil/tar): Wipe the stained area with a cloth moistened with heptane, VM&P naptha or mineral spirits, then wash with detergent and water and rinse completely.
Using high pressure cleaning equipment, the following conditions should be applied:
• Maximum pressure 80 bar
• Maximum temperature 60℃
• Minimum of 1 metre distance of cleaning jet from sheeting surface

Storage & Shelf Life Tips

1. Shelf life rule: Total shelf life (processed + unprocessed marking tapes) is no more than 2 years from the date of receipt from DM; processed tapes must be used within 1 year, regardless of the 2-year total shelf life.
2. Storage conditions: Keep the tape in a clean, dry environment and avoid direct sunlight exposure at all times.
