It reflects incident light directly back to the source, delivering excellent retroreflective optical performance both during the day and at night. In nighttime conditions, the film provides visibility comparable to daytime, significantly improving wearer safety.

When applied to Safety Apparel such as T-shirts, vests, and workwear, garments made with DM Reflective Heat Transfer Film ensure that wearers remainhighly visible to drivers—even at long distances or under scattered light conditions. This technology effectively addresses the critical challenge of “seeing and being seen” during nighttime travel.

Key Notes for Application

• Temperature & Time Control

  • Avoid excessive heat or prolonged pressing time, as this may reduce bonding strength once the hot-melt adhesive is fully absorbed into the base material.

• Improving Wash Durability

  • For products requiring enhanced wash fastness, it is recommended to re-press after removing the Protective Film under the following condition:

    • Reduce temperature by approx. 40°C

    • Keep pressure and pressing time unchanged

    • Ensure the equipment is clean to prevent brightness reduction.

• Protective Film Removal

  • Allow the garment to cool to room temperature before peeling off the protective layer.

  • Peel at 180° in a single motion without pausing, to avoid visual marks or defects.
